Rovers are on the road again tomorrow when they make the trip up the Coast Road to take on Peterlee & Horden.
Rovers will look to bounce back from last weeks disappointing showing at Rockcliffe. Once again coach Smith has had unavailability’s and injuries to contend with. Rovers have had rotten luck with injuries this season, picking up another three last week. Burnside (cut), Whitehead (concussion) and Curtis Ross (shoulder). They join Steve Benfield, Pinchen, and Austwicke on the long term injury list. There has been some good news on the injury front with influential second row Langley returning to the bench and a return to the starting line-up for Tony Ross and Shane Jeffery.
Also returning to the side are Matt Stephenson, Dazz Fawcett, try machine Mick Railton, and the handsome Andrew Dring, who will lead the side.
Games at Horden are never easy and despite Hordens league position, nothing can be taken for granted. It’s a derby and Rovers will have to be on top of their game to come away with a win.
The Heughers are at home against the same opposition in the Candy League.
Both games kick off is 2.00pm
