Hartlepool Rovers are deeply saddened to report the passing of Ronni Checksfield. Ronni fought bravely against illness but, unfortunately, lost his battle.

Ronni played a number of times for Rovers third team. He also dedicated time to coaching his son, Liam, at Rovers before moving on to West Hartlepool.

Ronni’s funeral will take place at 1pm on Friday 28th March at Stranton Crematorium. A celebration of Ronni's life will take place at West Hartlepool Rugby after the service.
