Three home games over the weekend. A feast of rugby.

Rovers are gearing up for an exciting match against Blyth RFC this Saturday, November 16th, with kickoff scheduled for 2 PM. Following the loss to Barnard Castle last week, the team will feature a changed lineup aimed at returning to winning ways.

In the forwards, Josh Healey takes the position of Loosehead, while Josh Wilson, Joe Little, and Dan Charters join the pack, bringing fresh energy and experience. In the backs, Mick Barnfield will shift to fly-half, and Ellis Trimble makes a welcome return to full-back. Additionally, Tom King steps in on the wing to replace the injured Harrison.

On the bench, Rovers will have Brad Harrington and Craig Vincent, along with the returning Kevin Maguire, ready to make an impact.

Meanwhile, the Heughers will host Darlington 3rds at KGV, a change from their originally scheduled match against Wensleydale. With a large squad at their disposal, several experienced players are stepping up to mentor the younger talents as they embark on their rugby journeys. This match also kicks off at 2 PM.

On Sunday, the Colts will take on Stockton in the league, starting at 1 PM. The Colts have had a fantastic start to the season and would greatly appreciate any support from the community.

Tomorrow’s first team match will double as a special Thank You event for supporters who contributed to the new perimeter fence. An unveiling of the thank you board will take place at 1:15 PM, and attendees will enjoy exclusive post-match access to complimentary food and drinks in the lounge.

Be sure to stop by the Florentine coffee van on site for a warm drink. Let's support our teams for an exciting weekend of rugby!
